Let's talk Red Sox

Since there's nothing interesting going on right now in the island, I'll take a break today and talk about sports. The Red Sox are now in a 6 game losing streak. The worse part of this whole thing? That we lost 5 straight to the Yankees! This losing streak has been picked up by the media everywhere. Everyone was sure that the Sox were going to make it to the playoffs and the Yankees weren't going because the wild card is going to a team in the Central division. This weekend, however, changed the entire story. The Yankees-Red Sox games were so painful to watch. Not only did we get beat in 5 straight games at Fenway, we got killed!! The Red Sox are plagued by injuries. Injuries that plagued the Yankees at the beginning of the season. Additionally, the Red Sox management have made some trades that have put us in a terrible position. We are currently 6.5 games behind the Yankees so our playoffs hope have dwindled to pretty much zero. As a true Red Sox fan, though, I have faith that something good will come along. Anyway, I'm getting a little depressed with this story, so I will go for now. Let's go Sox!
